Lorraine Gershun works with students island wide guiding them through the college search and application process. She helps them find schools and resources that are a good match for their learning styles and goals.

Lorraine is certified college counselor and an award-winning, high school English and journalism teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching students from Hawaii’s public and private schools how to write and helping them with their college applications. She earned a Certificate in College Admissions Counseling from UCLA’s top rated College Admissions Counseling Program. She also earned both a BS in English Literature and a Degree in Secondary Education from UCLA. Her Masters of Science degree is in Curriculum and Instruction.

Lorraine’s unique experiences living, teaching and raising her own children in the local community combine to give her the expertise needed to help Hawaii’s students seek opportunities at home and on the continental U.S. that fit their goals and aspirations, allowing them to dream big and work hard for success.
